They don't actually want anyone to KILL the old people...

they just want the old people to sort of waste away and die on their own. If they get sick or have health problems, well then, it's their own fault. Maybe they sinned and brought it all on themselves...in any case, they (the 'Pubs) have the fun of watching millions of old people die but none of the guilt associated with actually killing them directly.

I have answered the Euthanasia assertions on at least three or four threads if not more but they just keep seeping in and whispering their poison. I hate to think what they are doing or saying outside this forum to people whom they encounter or seek out.

6. All of us who are poor and/or disabled would die pretty quickly if Republicans

had their way. Not only would Health Care Reform fail if they had their way, but the Republicans would dismantle Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security (including SSI and SSDI) and all forms of Public Assistance too.

They would cut us all off, and blame us for our weakness while we starve to death. In the case of people like me with health problems and disabilities, they would blame us for our pain and agony too. It would be our own fault for not being rich or healthy. x(

Well, if God loved us wouldn't he have granted us health and wealth, like he gave them? Isn't it obvious that healthy and wealthy people are the beloved of god? If we are poor or sick it's because we're somehow inferior! :eyes:

This, unfortunately, is what we get when people take the the prosperity gospel seriously. This is what we get when this particularly sick, self-serving form of religion merges with self-serving politics. :(

It isn't enough just to be selfish and greedy. Now they have to warp religion so that God says that being selfish and greedy is right and good!
