LOVE WILL SET US FREE
Love of country, is what separates many of us from rank-and-file Americans. Perhaps even Bush could be forgiven if any of his actions reflected a true love of country.

Sadly, people rarely realize what they've lost until it's gone. Loss of freedom creeps into many liberal blogs like a lament of lost love.

As long as potent puppeteers pull political strings to pit Republicans against Democrats or whites against blacks with hate-mongering media, they will remain powerful. Divide and conquer is their strategy. It represents an age-old approach that still works. If it's not broken why fix it?

Why over-complicate issues facing America?

Love is the key.

2. Love will keep us together...
Love, love will keep us together
Think of me babe whenever
Some sweet talking girl comes along singing her song
Don't mess around,
You gotta be strong
Just Stop , 'cause I really love You
Stop , I'll be thinking of you
Look in my heart and let love keep us together

You, You belong to me now
Ain't gonna set you free now
When those girls start hanging around talking me down
Hear with your heart and you won't hear a sound
Just Stop , 'cause I really love you
Stop , I'll be thinking of you
Look in my heart and let love keep us together, what ever.

Young and beautiful
Someday your looks will be gone
When the others turn you off
Who'll be turning you on

I will, I will, I will, I will
Be there to share forever
Love will keep us together
Said it before and I'll say it again while others pretend
I'll need you now and I'll need you then
Stop 'cause I really love Ya
Stop I'll be thinking of Ya
Look in my heart and let love keep us together

I AM SOOOOO SORRY. I simply could not resist.

3. appropriate song ...
Orange Sky
Well I had a dream
I stood beneath an orange sky
Yes I had a dream
I stood beneath an orange sky
With my brother standing by
With my brother standing by
I said Brother, you know you know
It’s a long road we’ve been walking on
Brother you know it is you know it is
Such a long road we’ve been walking on

And I had a dream
I stood beneath an orange sky
With my sister standing by
With my sister standing by
I said Sister, here is what I know now
Here is what I know now
Goes like this..
In your love, my salvation lies
In your love, my salvation lies
In your love, my salvation lies
In your love, in your love, in your love

But sister you know I’m so weary
And you know sister
My hearts been broken
Sometimes, sometimes
My mind is too strong to carry on
Too strong to carry on

When I am alone
When I’ve thrown off the weight of this crazy stone
When I've lost all care for the things I own
That's when I miss you, that's when I miss you, that's when I miss you
You who are my home
You who are my home
And here is what I know now
Here is what I know now
Goes like this..
In your love, my salvation lies
In your love, my salvation lies
In your love, my salvation lies
In your love, my salvation lies
In your love, my salvation lies
In your love, my salvation lies
In your love, my salvation lies
In your love, in your love, in your love

Well I had a dream
I stood beneath an orange sky
Yes I had a dream
I stood beneath an orange sky
With my brother and my sister standing by
With my brother and my sister standing by
With my brother and my sister standing by

4. Because even those that love their country can be deceived
through lie or omission. Love alone can't do it. Sunshine is the key.

5. Love and illumination are old partners in the dance of truth and freedom...
"Sunshine" defines his partner Love.

12. I like that dove!
Because it's actually doing something rather than just sitting there looking peaceful. :)

(Doves, btw, are pretty contentious birds. Ever see them hack at each other at a bird feeding station?)

I haven't felt love since the fall of 97, and I frankly don't expect to feel it ever again.

13. this quote suggests you're borderline... you better watch remarks like these...
When you write; "Justice requires rewarding good behavior, no matter its source, and discouraging and punishing bad actions, no matter who performs them," someone might begin to think you "LOVE" justice and, dare I suggest it, even the poor!

Blessed are the poor in spirit:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn:
for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek:
for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness:
for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful:
for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

8. Republicans abdicated
their responsibility to their country a hundred years when they decided to be the party of big business. The "monied interests" view nation-states as an impediment to their designs for a global economy. While I tend to think that global government will eventually happen (assuming we survive global warming!), we should work to make sure our rights as individuals are secure under such an arrangement. Judging by the actions of multinationals & the "free trade" agreements, they have no interest in our securing our rights or protecting the environment.
Ralph Nader once wrote a letter to the top fortune 100 companies in the U.S. requesting that they recite the pledge of allegiance before every board meeting. I think around 58 replied, with one company actually accepting his request. The other 57 basically replied: we're multi-nationals and aren't about to "pledge allegiance" to any one country. These are the forces behind the Republican party (and to a lesser extent, the Dems) and they are undermining our country and our sovereign rights.

11. I gave you a rec
not because I agree with you. But I guess that I, in my heat really believe what you are saying.

However we live with the most evil and vicious of people. You cannot trust them. That you must learn, and learn it very quickly if you are to survive.

They will eat you alive. They look for those of us that are searching for "love".

You may find love in your immediate area. But that will not sustain you. However it may provide you with a partner which you can attempt to flee and then suffer together. You will receive no respite. You are dust. As we all will be. We can only prolong the destiny which we all face. No reason to face it alone. Many will.
