Reconciliation Group in Hiroshima
From Tacoma, Washington; Rev. Bill Bichsel, Mitch Kojima and Tom Karlin are leading a group of peace activists on a tour of Japan mostly to apologize for the US's use of atomic weaponery but also to facilitate and foster peace and friendship. I am thinking of them today and wishing them good thoughts, hope we can do the same on Democratic Underground!

1. We've been a peace for 40+ years
Japan and the US have been at peace for over 40 years. We've been pretty friendly with them too. Will be limiting our apologies only to the atomic weaponry? And how would the Japanese feel if we delivered this apology in Nanking?
