Grand Jury meeting in John Edwards case.

According to CNN, there is a Grand Jury convened regarding John Edwards. His mistress, Reily Hunter (carrying her little girl in her arms) was seen entering the court house through the loading dock entrance this morning.

Can you imagine the good he could be doing for health care now if he hadn't destroyed his credibility for a roll in the hay? Too bad he isn't a republican, they don't seem to be fazed by scandal like democrats are.

7. Have they yet considered charges against Ensign and the Republicans

for doing what Edwards is accused of? In Ensign's case, his mitress, her husband and son all were pretty obviously given money by the Republican party or campaign.

(This is not to say that Edwards should not be indicted if Edwards channeled donated money to Hunter, he should be - and the same goes for Ensign, if he did.)

they all have health care, and his new child will have health care. Campaign laws? they all do.

8. Most politicians do try to obey campaign - and other - laws

It has to be embarrassing when even unintended lapses occur. Their "name" and reputation do mean something to them.
