Montanans Urge State Legislators to Move on Impeachment

Montanans, through Montana Partners for Impeachment are leading their state legislators to move on the impeachment of George W. Bush and Richard Cheney.

On January 10th, Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) said on the Senate floor: "If we knew then what we know now, I would not have voted for the war. If we knew then what we know now, I believe that results of that vote would have been different. The administration was not up front with us."

The Montana Partners for Impeachment group's resolution focuses on four provable impeachment articles being prepared by Montanans to protect the integrity of our country: warrantless surveillance, lying to congress about Iraq, torturing prisoners, and subverting the separation of powers.

Montanans can add their name to the updated legislative letter sent to Helena and forward it to the State Legislature's Floor Leader.
