AP omits Penn's killer racist diary rants

"The Associated Press and other news outlets have omitted references to President Barack Obama, the election of “The Black Man” and remarks that black men have “their choice of the best white” women when republishing excerpts of the diary by a Pittsburgh-area man who killed three women and himself at an LA Fitness gym Tuesday evening.

In fact, the Associated Press’ primary story contains no reference to Obama at all, even though the first entry of the killer’s diary came the day after Obama was elected and references Obama’s election directly.

The omission was noted by the blog of Editor and Publisher.

George Sodini, the shooter, writes in a post dated Nov. 5, 2008. “Good luck to Obama! He will be successful. The liberal media LOVES him. Amerika has chosen The Black Man. ”

The same entry remarks that black men have “thier choice” of young white “hoez” .

“Black dudes have thier choice of best white hoez,” Sodini writes. “You do the math, there are enough young white so all the brothers can each have one for 3 or 6 months or so.”

Later, Sodini writes of the President, “But I got a promotion and a raise, even in this shitty Obama ecomomy.”

It’s unclear why. ABC News reprinted more details of the diary. RAW STORY has published the full diary below."

Physically attacking people, maiming them, killing them is already against the law.

Hate crime law which have special punishments for certain crimes feed the notion of preferred status in society, but worse, they lead to hate-speech laws. I oppose hate speech laws because they are unconstitutional and because I enjoy engaging in hate speech now and then. Not being able to call the fundies moronic whackjobs is no fun.

Why is that? It sickens me that so many women on DU will constantly usurp a thread relating some crime committed against men with the excuse that men don't understand the overload of violence perpetrated against women... and then when a HUGE, REVOLTING mass killing that has CLEARLY been perpetrated against women appears, those dickwad women are nowhere to be heard from.
