1. That was a BIG mistake on Grassley's part. Just wait 'till the Lion
of the Senate roars. My bet is that Teddy won't stand for that shit.

2. Not to put too fine a point on it
I think the cheese has fallen off Mr. Grassley's cracker. This shit and his little dragon/Lancelot show in the Senate is evidence that his family may want to look into a cognitive assessment.

3. What fucking rubbish, apart from the tastelessness of it

I have unfortunately known more than one person with the same disease as Senator Kennedy, and they were given the best treatment available.

And while right-wing governments in Europe - and insurance companies in America! - sometimes take cost of medicines too much into account IMO, I have NEVER come across rationing on the grounds of how 'economically productive' someone is. That's right - NEVER! - even Thatcher never dared to propose such a thing! Where rationing occurs, it's on the basis of need and prognosis, not productivity. The very fact that Grassley would think in those terms shows how morally debased the Republicans must be.

4. Grassley will sink His own ship..
Just like the rest of them. The good news is, they have thrown out almost every "fear" statement they possibly could. The only people soaking that shit up are the ones who always do anyway, because they're robots. the majority of Americans still want reform, so their propaganda is only pissing us off, and the believers of lies have reached the saturation point. Yes, they'll continue to yip and bark and lie, but I for one will not let it get under my skin... I mean, even they entertainment value is losing it's appeal, so it must lose momentum for them sooner or later I would think.
