Civiltry is required and rules of conduct too...The Bullyism used to disrupt has no place in American Politics....

OutRageous Behavior of the High School Level...

Do they realize what they look like?

Are they jealous?

Are they that Control Hungry?

Is this like "CRYING TANTRUMS?"

The guys in charge need the LAW to be in Force....disruptors to jail

1. did you think the same during the last administration, if not then your hypocritical
ive always believed disruptors to be idiots and all they do is turn people against there message as they get labeled as nuts, but i no more want the draconian crackdown that some are calling for when i disagree with someone than to have it against ideas i believe in...

4. codepink m akes a ruckus then gets escorted out. same deal, same rules,
it's fair, and it's not a stupid, fascistic construct like "free speech zones", either.

10. exactly, but the same people who attacked the last admin for stuff are now advocating
that the same old shit is okay now due to a change in management, what happens in 4 or 8 years and the management changes again....

13. These thugs are shutting down the democratic process like the Brown Shirts they emulate. This is...
... NOT about their freedom of speech, it's about them intimidating others into silence -- with the threat of violence always in the wings. Hypocrisy on our part? I think not.

Those of us with eyes to see and ears to hear knew that the RW would not go quietly once Obama was elected. They don't give a damn about fair and democratic processes, as anyone who has been paying attention since Election 2000 knows. Our country's fate still stands on the edge of a knife, when it comes to the RW hate machine. We have GOT to be ready for them, and this example shows one way to do it.

Tea Baggers FAIL to disrupt Health Care meeting, lessons shared.
Posted by Joanne98 on Tue Aug-04-09 07:09 AM
The Democratic Alliance of Northwest Indiana (DANI ) hosted a meeting with Rep. Pete Visclosky (D, IN-01), on Monday, Aug. 3, 6:30 PM. We invited the public and their written questions. It seems good to share with the Daily Kos readership some lessons we learned. <snip>

3. From the very beginning of the last administration
only true blue Repubs were admitted to any place W went

People were evicted just because of their bumper stickers even when they had not said one word.

5. This is a battle for ideas
Edited on Wed Aug-05-09 01:58 PM by Reform
using totalitarianism in regards to deafening these *ucks free speech is not the way.
Quieting your opponent by force will lead to quieting yours in the future.
I guess people forget the past 8 years of people getting arrested, beaten and tazed for expressing their first amendment freedoms, even if this stuff is "AstroTurf" i dont think shutting them up with the jackboot is a righteous way to go.
Its a slippery slope my friends,

6. BS, and what about physical violence should that be allowed to?
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x4001608

If these people want to act out like they are they should expect and accept being arrested, and the same goes for code pink.

7. Isnt there a difference between disruption and free speech?
At these meetings, opportunities are given to allow the people to speak. What these disruptors are doing is trying to PREVENT the free exchange of ideas and the right to free speech by everyone else.

12. Whoa...no one suggested they be "quieted" without cause...only if they disrupt with immature
behavior...

Anyone following civil rules will/should be allowed to speak...thats a normal meeting

Free Speech is also lertting others speak in turn or by lot....

9. "Intent' should be considered.

They have no desire to be a part of the town hall discussions.
They only want to disrupt. They are on record as saying so.
So the hell with them. Let them suffer the consequences.
