Is the GOP still paying people to post on blogs and websites?

Prior to the election, I read that the GOP was paying people to post things on sites in an effort to make people believe that there was a groundswell against Obama.
Does anyone know whether that is still going on? I go to a totally non-political site and a few people post RW crap. One of them always talks about making money online but of course doesn't refer to the GOP payments.

Lots of those 'grass root protesters' heckling DEM town hall meetings are being bussed in. It's more than just hiring people to post on websites.

and who's paying for it.

However, I'm trying to find out about online postings. If I found a link or some other proof for it, I'd like to post it on this other site so I could shut these folks up.

11. If you are looking for proof that will satisify wingers,

look at the birthers and rethink you mission. Logic and proof do not make an impression on about 23% of the population ;) You won't be able to shut them up. Just respond to their rantings and lies with facts.

I haves seen an increase in the "nuts" on other sites after the elections, which mad me wonder what was going on. One site has had the same bunch of right wingers on it for years, and the same number of liberals that post there. After the election new faces showed up, new registrations, and more of the same old right wing BS. Some spent hours and hours on the site trashing the president and everything he tried to do. A couple of weeks ago, a few of the more vocal new people stopped posting and have not posted since, so who knows! One thing I do know, the right wing is getting out their talking points to the "nuts" on a daily basis. Even the old timers on the right, have come up with all kinds of "weird" stuff that they never talked about before. Could be more of the are listening to Rush and the other morons, but they are getting crazier by the day!

I just mentioned that I sent an email to [e-mail] re: a "support group" that I was a member of. There is one poster in particular that posts all sorts of anti-Obama things EVERY DAY.

Said person doesn't seem to have a diagnosis of any sort of a for real medical problem yet has infiltrated this group with these constant posts. Said person claims to be a women, but I rather doubt it given some of the writings I have seen.

I am curious now and I hope I might get a response.

I don't think of 1,000 posts as a particularly 'high post count'. Considering how many progressives seem to hate Democrats, it's kinda hard for me to spot trolls too. One recently seemed to have gotten a pizza delivered because he got offended at cops being called pigs. Not sure how that makes somebody a non-Democrat or non-progressive. Perhaps though, it was his IP address that gave him/her away more than anything he/she said.

They post it everywhere. I don't actually get the part about time running out but it always starts out hawking their liberal creds and then asking specifically for the long form. I saw one here the other day by someone who had eleven previous posts. It's on Huffington all the time.

With a small army of GOP idiots in the hinterland, most of whom are living with their mom and off her Social Security check, the GOP probably doesn't run out of volunteers.

Sure, they come here and they post their stupidity, but most of them aren't very good at coming in under radar.

The posts are obviously written by a staff writer for the RNC or one of their allies. The character has no personal information, only carping talking points. It's clearly an Astroturf operation.
