Bill Clinton--A true American Patriot
The former president could have said "No" to the request from North Korea that he come if we wanted to get the journalists released. He knew that by doing this he would once again be a punching bag for the right wing accusing him of "dealing with terrorists" and that stupid baloney. But he did the right thing. Two fellow Americans are home with there families and it didn't cost this country an ounce of prestige or blood. That's the way it should be.

While were at it Kudos too to President Obama for authorizing this and Secretary of State Clinton. Isn't it good to have adults dealing with foreign policy again?

1. Totally agree.
He really deserves all the accolades he will receive for this (and none of the criticism). :)

5. I always look for the humanity in a person and Clinton has it. I can only imagine what Cheney and
his daughter would say.

Not just adult, but people with a clear understanding of the term "diplomacy" and the will to act on their convictions.

If nothing else, BushCo* endangered national security with their bloviating and rhetoric - no clue about the concept of diplomacy (or they just didn't care 'cause conflict means $$$$$$$$$ for the MIC).
