Okay, so it wasn't plaurel. But I think the exclusion of "Vice President" was intentional. :)

2. I don't think there's any sarcasm. It's a dig to GWB. And Gore campaigned a bit
in the general for Obama.

4. Well, Obama did acknowledge that he thought there was some funny business
going on in 2000 during the campaign--I believe he even went so far as to say that Gore got cheated.
