If you just saw that thuglican ad during Morning Jerk
an ad just ran by some group calling themselves Better Government Association during Morning Jerk. The ad was an anti health care reform ad, so you can imagine the content.

Here is a little more about this group. Typical thuglican politics.

Better Government Association Sues Group With Name

So which is the better Better Government Association?

An independent, non-partisan political watchdog group formed in Chicago in 1923 does not want to be confused with a highly-partisan new group out of Akron, Ohio, also calling itself the Better Government Association.

The Akron-based group recently took out a full-page ad in USA Today claiming "Barack Obama ... and the Democrats did not inherit the bad economy; they caused it and made it worse ... They now want to bankrupt the nation with socialized medicine and socialism energy taxes."

The 86-year-old BGA has gotten calls and letters from people -- some angry -- who saw the ad, so the Chicago group is asking a federal court to prevent the Ohio group from any further activity which could cause such confusion.

The BGA filed a lawsuit in federal court in Chicago on Monday asking for a permanent injunction against the Ohio group.

(end snip)

So they take the name of an 86 year old respectable group and create havoc and run amok. So typical.

1. so now the dems CAUSED this mess??? were they around last year???
because i remember who was president... dems DID play a role, considering they were running things when the dismantling of FDR depression era legislation put in place to prevent the crap that happened with the banks began.... but the most i will blame the dems for is complicity in what the republicans did after bush came in and they just destroyed any safeguards that were left to ensure that their corporate sponsors could do whatever they wanted. and the result was what happened last year. i love how the republicans claim to be all about personal responsibility.... but never for themselves. they want to blame everyone else for everything that happens that is bad. You should be proud of yourselves, republicans.... you brought this country to its knees.... you got your deregulation through, and what resulted was a complete economic meltdown. you should be proud of yourselves... not trying to pin it on others.
