Kris Kobach will be on Colbert tomorrow (Wed)

This ought to be good. Here in Kansas, we call him KKKris. He was once head of the state GOP and just announced he is running for state SOS.

While head of the state GOP, he banned several Republicans from voting at party conventions because they had supported Democrats. One was a man whose wife is a state rep and a Dem. Several of these banned folks switched their registration to Democrat.

Kris ran against our Dem congressman in 2002 (or maybe 2004?) and racist mailings were one of the many nails in his campaign's coffin.

KKKris is an attorney and teaches at an area university. He also is a huge anti-immigration activist and represents FAIR. He argued the case that town in PA lost when they tried to ban immigrants. He has also worked for years to do away with the KS law that gives in state tuition to immigrants who are graduates of KS high schools and have applied for citizenship. (Most are kids who came here as babies.) He has lost every round in the state house and in court.

Kris has never yet won an anti-immigration case in court.

Kris is a regular guest on Lou Dobbs.

then proceeded to get spanked in the General iirc.
