Neocons shouting down town halls on healthcare -- because they can't debate?
I think they're doing it simply because they can't debate the issues on healthcare, so it's the only way they can get their point across. They know they'd lose an honest debate, so they have to resort to childish tactics like these.

Thoughts?

2. They're uselessly shouting BECAUSE "they have NO VALID POINTS WHATSOEVER
to bring to any debate."

They just make stuff up and sell it as 'true'.

3. not neocons
brain-dead shills of the health insurance companies. Not smart enough to have a philosophy, even one as perverted as the neocons

they are doing it because they are maleable dumbasses
their corporate masters are doing it to disrupt in any way they can

Blackwater CEO is exposed as a murderer, health insurance CEOs are his comrades in alms

6. Boo yah!!!!!
Exactly what I think, when I see that a lot of the disruptors appear to be of the age to be receiving Medicare. Want to bet, though, that if someone actually said they had to give it up, they'd get clonked over the head by the white-haired peeps?

8. Conservative groups sent out plans on how to to disrupt town hall events held by Congressmen
It is the right wing riot strategy that worked so well for GWB in Florida in 2000 -- fake public outrage manufactured by the far right wing.

Why aren't these people being arrested for disorderly conduct?

9. Absolutely.
A recent article by Howard Dean said it very well. The Cons are in the tough position of having to say they have a plan for Health Care Reform, when they really only want to preserve the obscene profits of the Health Care Corporations.

10. Confuse, distract, enflame, control the discourse
They're like internet trolls, just trying to derail things, IMO. Change the subject, make people react instead of thinking. Change the discussion to an argument about the core ideas involved, to prevent any intelligent discussion of the details or implications of those ideas. Cast everything in doubt. Make everything a battle of opinions rather than an exchange of information. Emotionalize everything.

Or so it seems to me.
