"Van Flein threatened to serve my summons "at the kindergarten where you assist". He did not say the "school where you work", he specifically mentioned my classroom in order to frighten me into compliance. Why else would he have said that?"

I know a lot of people here are considering this rumor "debunked" -- because Meg Stapleton says so :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: -- but I am of the opinion, given the events of the past few months, that something is definitely amiss with the ex-guv.

Personally, I don't see how ANYONE'S marriage could have survived through all the hoopla of the past year.

Considering that Gryphen is sticking by his story and his sources and not backing down even after the Palin's attorney's letter - it seems to me there is more to the story than the Palin camp wants to admit.
And I have seen nothing that 'debunks' the story.
Just because Meg Stapleton and the lawyers make a statement does not 'debunk' anything, in my opinion ;)

7. You seem so quick to believe known liar Meg Stapleton

before Gryphen the blogger, who has been quite accurate as I've followed his writings over the past year. There are five Alaskan bloggers whom I read every day -- Phil Munger at ProgressiveAlaska, Celtic Diva, Shannyn Moore, The Mudflats and The Immoral Minority. I trust these people more than Anchorage's local media, and most certainly the national media, who have been hesitant to delve too deeply into the mysteries of Sarah Palin, for whatever reasons. The bloggers have not been wrong very often, and when they have been, they've corrected their errors.

I don't want to argue with you, so this is the last I'm going to say -- at least to you == about this. I saw what happened with that other thread.

More than any potential divorce, I'm interested in learning whether the stories about Todd threatening Levi and Sarah being involved in some way with Sherry Johnston's arrest have any basis in fact. Divorce is legal, fourth degree assault and tampering with the justice system are not.

9. Well, you can be forgiven if you haven't been following

the nuances of Alaska's politics and all the "players" in this story. If you go back into the archives of the blogs I mentioned, back last fall, you can acquaint yourself with the razor-tongued Ms. Stapleton. In fact, we call her "Stapletongue" here. She is NOT a nice person, and there is very bad blood between her and the local bloggers.

I probably don't know much about the politics in your state either. I kind of liked it when Alaska's politicians, despite being corrupt, were relatively anonymous. I mean, every state has corrupt politicians. But not every state gets stuck with a Sarah Palin.

Maybe I'm just tired, it's late here bunch of teenagers having a party up the street I had to go tell them to quite down a bit. I just wasn't much impressed with the kindergarten threat, found it kind of silly to make an issue of. I have been served at work 3 times, so maybe I'm just missing something that would bother most people. I don't think Gryphen is in any danger of being sued. Unless the lawyer is aware of something we aren't. If he truly believes his source then he is fine. It wouldn't surprise me if it was true or that they planted the story. Beautiful State you have there, my family took a vacation up there for 3 weeks in 1983, loved it. I was almost dinner for a really big bear. I slept out one night to get out of the RV. The rangers came by in the morning and told us that a bear had turned over every garbage can in the campsite, I never even woke up. One of the other Captains in the department has a son that just moved up there with his wife who is a physician, they are loving it.

it just seemed like you were taking Meg at her word that the rumor was untrue when in fact we don't KNOW that to be the case. She has made a career of covering for the ex-guv -- and in fact gets paid quite well by SarahPAC to do it -- so it behooves her to lie her ass off if she wants to keep her job.

Anyway, I meant no harm. I'm glad you have positive feelings toward Alaska. This really is a great place to live despite all the craziness. :)

This constant attack on anyone and everyone who says something about her that she doesn't like is getting downright crazy.

Judd. Letterman. Johnston. Moore. Gryphen.

Doesn't she or anyone around her understand that she is now in the public national spotlight. People are going to say stuff about her....it's "par for the course" as she likes to cite.

She is making herself look more petty and thin-skinned as the days go by. I think all these threats of lawsuits and press release wars on late night talk show hosts and getting her final little dig in on "hollywood starlets" in her Quitter speech, is concrete proof that this woman is losing it a bit, she's spinning out of control.

Palin has realized just how insignificant she really is in the grand scheme of things. She is, as you say, spinning out of control and will use any means to keep her name in the press.

I'm almost embarrassed FOR her! But she's too foolish to just shut up. (Or in this case, get her attorneys to shut up).
