I have no compulsion to follow Sarah Palin's every move. I don't Google her, and put every mention of her in a scrapbook.

She, however, is impossible to completely ignore. She is everywhere and anywhere. I inadvertently learned her kids' names during the campaign when they were dragged from see to shining see. I would have to go live in a cave in order not to hear something about her. Even then, I expect some echo of her name would reach me.
