"ABC's This Week" should be worth watching this time.
Edited on Sun Aug-02-09 07:10 AM by Are_grits_groceries
ABC's This Week: US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and Alan Greenspan. Roundtable. Michelle Malkin, Cynthia Tucker, Al Hunt and Jerry Seib.

Cynthia Tucker is liable to rhetorically leave nothing of Michelle Malkin. Tucker has never pulled her punches, and she has no time for fools.

I want to know why Malkin is getting any serious time on the MSM? Is Rush next?

1. It's a mystery about Malkin. She's a shrill, talent-free idiot.
Not unlike Johan Goldberg or the recent version of Jeremy Scahill.

It happens.

2. I second Buzz Click's assessment of Malkin and regret that ABC News

thinks her spew is owed viewers' attention.

Agree also on Tucker. She's top-drawer.

between an idiot english major (non-journalist) and a journalist?

News should NOT inlcude a music major, turned english major, ugly, nasty person who just wrote a book full of PERSONAL OPINIONS!

4. No.
However, if Malkin is going to be on the MSM, I am glad that there is a good person on with her who can intelligently present another viewpoint. Without that, the Malkins of the world are left free to spew their garbage nonstop.

7. You are right on that, but she and her kind are not news
and I just HATE that they get on MSM with no reason, purpose, qualifications, etc. Who the FUCK is she and Coulter and alll those kind of people!

And YES we do have to respond quickly, loudly to their garbage otherwise it tends to stick to the generally stupid population in the U.S. (as Maher stated, look what happened to John Kerry when he decided not to respond to the Swift Boaters!)

11. I just caught the tail end of it; don't waste your time
Malkin is her usual skanky bitch self and Cynthia wasn't the least bit nasty to her.

6. Nothing could make "This Week" worth watching
for me. Ever.

I have not watched it since Cokie Roberts insisted that Al Gore should concede in 2000 very EARLY in the recount process.

She insisted by asking the question over and over, "WHEN is Al Gore going to concede?" Her bias as a supposed "journalist" was appalling.

This event is just ONE of the reasons that I will never watch "This Week."

9. +1!
You've been This Weak free longer than I and I :patriot: you. I swore off when Georgie and Chuckie hosted one of the Democratic debates and spent a large chunk of time berating Obama for not wearing a flag lapel pin. :eyes:

The Mickey Mouse channel sucks.

Michelle Malkin getting a seat of credibility on a Sunday morning show.

Blows my mind.

14. Will not watch anything with that shrieking idiot Malkin.
Maher did a good job of lamblasting the prepackaged wingnut books like the one Steffie plugged this week.

What a waste.

15. Geithner and Greenspan both advocated for the public plan.
FWIW: Two of the biggest capitalists on the planet advocating to save (socialized) Medicare, plan for the aging boomers (Greenspan), push the (socialist) Public Option as a key piece in the recovery (Geithner) - taking a big strain off of who they like to call "consumers"
