how sloppy can the AP get?
Vermont hospital deep-sixing fried chicken
By Associated Press
Sunday, August 2, 2009 - Added 9h ago

LEBANON, Vt. - There will be no more chicken-finger Mondays at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Vermont.

A year after banning cigarettes, the Lebanon hospital has shut the door on deep-fried food.

The hospital scratched food like french fries, fried chicken and salads served in deep-fried taco shells from its menu as of July 4 - a year to the day after smoking was banned there.

<snip>

The problem with this story? There is no Lebanon Vermont. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (and this is no small place) is in Lebanon, NH.

2. Yeah, but sometimes they're both wrong and right.
Among my favorites (emphasis mine):

"His top contenders are said to include Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. Less traditional choices mentioned include former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge, an abortion-rights supporter, and Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman, the Democratic vice presidential prick in 2000 who now is an independent."
