How does the disputed house on Lake Lucille fit into all of this?

Who is holding what over whose head?

4. Palin does. She's the one with GOP handlers.
On the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Todd was the moving party. He always looked like he'd rather drive nails through his eyes than be at all those public events.

Can you provide the link to the filing for divorce? I didn't know we had anything more than an unsubstantiated rumor.

I would suspect she has as many PR people too.

15. The point is that CBS reporters are claiming this as well... read further...
"CBS News producer Scott Conroy, who followed Palin on the campaign trail last year, said the story of the couple not speaking to each other appears to be untrue.

As for the wedding ring, CBS News Political Director Steve Chaggaris said, Sarah Palin often campaigned without it."

16. LOL!
The CBS reporters are not denying the Palins may be getting a divorce, they're responding to related "rumors."

Not the same thing.

Although, I would like to hear more from Andrea Mitchell who seemed to be sure that Palin was out of politics for good the day after Palin announced she was stepping down.

It makes no sense for the Palin camp to deny it if it were true. Even they are not that stupid.

25. Look, there is no middle ground here, either they divorce or they don't. ..
It's not something that can be hidden or disguised or spun. If they've denied it. They cannot be stupid enough to do so as a lie.

17. The lawyers seem to be handling a lot.
If I remember right from yesterday's announcement that Sarah would NOT be appearing at the Reagan Library, Meggie said that any future requests for appearances would have to be run through Sarah's lawyers.

Release Concerning Simi Valley Republican Women's Event:
As repeatedly stated to several in the media over the last week, former Governor Sarah Palin is not committed to attend the Simi Valley Republican Women's event at the Reagan Library and in fact is not attending the event. Neither the Governor's state staff nor SarahPAC has ever committed to attending this event or speaking at this event, and even requested that the Governor's name be removed from the invitation several weeks ago. The Governor has other work and commitments to take care of at that time. She looks forward to visiting her friends in California soon.

All event requests must be confirmed with Meghan Stapleton of SarahPAC. Additionally, all invitations bearing the Governor's name must be approved by her attorney before proceeding.

Thank you.
Meghan Stapleton

It seems odd that her lawyers would have to look at and approve invitations.

Also, too, Meg apparently forgets that Sarah is no longer governor, and since she QUIT, in my opinion she doesn't deserve the honorary title.

32. What if they're already divorced and the decree has been
sealed by the court? How would we know? I mean, were they even married? Where's the marriage certificate? A "Certification" of Marriage won't do. I want to see the actual "long form" Certificate, complete with the minister's signature and the witness' signatures.

Also, I'll need to see the minister's ordination papers, complete with official seal, and the official sealed birth certificates of the witnesses.

We have a right to know, after all.
