My prediction: Imus will return but Democratic establishment won't

I think Imus will ride this out and be back on the air, but I don't think the Democratic establishment will be. Democratic and Republican big wigs often find their way on Imus's show. But if he returns I don't think many Dems will--especially the ones running for president. But I can see the leading GOP candidates lining up to be on with him!

I was referring to Imus' audience being called crickets and slugs. If we object to Imus namecalling why would be want to do the same? I am neither a cricket or a slug.

Free advertisement and he definitely helps book sales. I think the media is more upset about the whole thing than the populace. Those who watched Imus will probably largely continue to do so.
