Ah, the life of a U.S. senator — you can ignore President Obama's call for meaningful health care reform and take a month-long break, all while enjoying your own salary and health care on the taxpayers' dime.

That's right — this week Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced that the Senate will be ignoring President Obama's request to pass health care reform this summer. Instead, they'll take a month-long vacation before dealing with health care sometime this fall.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi has promised that the House will pass reform this summer. So what's the problem in the Senate?

The problem is Montana Democrat Max Baucus.
