Tourism in IA;
Big weddings in MA and now this. It may just be that the business world gives gays in the US the momentum to push it all into the mainstream.

Springfield needed revenue... you can fill in the rest.

Why not? With the economy in the toilet, Iowa and Mass. may have the means to pull themselves out. How about Vermont? Gay marriage and Ben & Jerry's -- two big draws right there.

4. I keep telling my friends at work about the benefits of
our marriage policy in Iowa. They are not happy (funny how they are libertarian on most things but not about allowing a personal contract between two adults).
