Robert Wenzel and the "Economic Policy Journal" - anyone know about this guy?

I'm new here, and this is my first post so I just want to say hello to everyone right off the bat. I found this site while searching for a rebuttal to the appalling Robert Wenzel comments.

It's clear that Mr. Wenzel is offering his own opinion of the bill in a page-by-page analysis that suits his needs. Nowhere does he quote what he has read on the pages he cites, so no one is getting any real information beyond the reality of Wenzel's opinion. He presents his opinion as fact (surprise!) without backing up a single claim. It is almost impossible to rebut his rant because the reader is not privy to the version of the bill against which he is ranting.

So far, I have replied to people telling them that without having the benefit of reading the bill for myself, I can't be certain what any particular page says, and neither can they. Mr. Wenzel is offering his opinion without giving his followers the benefit of reading it for themselves and making their own decisions. I also tell them that his criticism is based on one version of an ever-changing bill which is nowhere near a vote at this point. The bill is constantly being altered by all parties who are working on it, including lobbyists from all sides who are chipping in their two cents worth.

I hope someone will be able to turn up something on this guy, who is clearly a right wingnut, focused on defeating Obama and all libs, and on scaring the living daylights out of everyone..
