The fact that they even had this segment proves Pierce's point, but never mind that. Shuster tries to discredit Pierce by saying that he cannot possibly be responsible for giving the birthers a voice because Liz Cheney has never been on his show. Why has she never been on Shuster's show? Because she declined the request. So it's not like Shuster refused to give her a soapbox on principal.

That petulant halfwit was obviously in the wrong weight class from the moment Pierce sat down. No matter how much he tried to talk over the top of his eloquent guest it was obvious from the start that he was not the smartest man at the table.

the argument he got from Pierce. I was extremely happy that Pierce rightly called out the nets for providing Liz Cheney a forum in which to promote her garbage. What's worse, she gets the softball questions everytime she's on teevee. AND she cuts off the answers of any opposing point of view.

Don't we have a majority now? And why do they even bring right wingers on the show? Pierce had a definite point there, and he seems like a smart guy... Shuster is a jackoff... don't like im... And why even try to expose them as nuts? They do quite well doing that themselves. Maybe they ought to just stick to interviewing Lefties, bring some experts on Universal health care on, like Jack Layton and Shirley Douglas. Leave the right wing nuts to yap their shit at Billo and beck and the other fuckwads...They keep bringing them on their shows to try and smack them down, but all they are doing is giving them a platform to spout their crap... the less I see of em the better!
