Don Imus a distraction from war with Iran
The Iranian government has announced that they are ready for "industrial" level refinery, the UN is setting up for sanctions, all while Bush has been building up a striking force for the last 6 - 9 months.

10 Americans died in Iraq over the weekend, and 15000 troops are having their tours extended there.

6 Nato troops were killed in Afghanistan over the weekend, and the Taliban is resurfacing.

Muqtada Al-Sadr has called for a massive protest in Baghdad to "remove the occupiers". Mr. Al-Sadr, by the way, is the man that John McCain said "had no power" the day prior.

But, like usual, the corporately controlled American media is focusing on the "outrage of the day". Please, let us discuss Don Imus.

10. Exactly - Imus Was Against The Bush Administration
You know thay are loving this. And I find Sharpton to be quite a hypocrite on this. How many times has he said things that weren't politically correct?

12.  I agree and see your point
I don;t watch or listen to Imus . This is the same as Anna Nichole and all the other crazed issues that even when there is important news going on these none issues take the spotlight .

15. I just don't understand this mentality.
I am continuously outraged by hundreds of things coming from this misadministration, supporters, etc. Each day, it's something new, but I still have the ability to think about (and fight) two things at one time. Racism and sexism IS NOT a non-issue in my book, and this story is nothing like the ANS shit.

14. Get used to it... DU gets like this, and it's not like we can't multitask
Actually racism is still a big problem as shown by all the people defending Imus, so it's nice to switch heavy topics once in awhile.
