1. So his embarassing dog-and-piggy show during the hearings was a waste of time?
I'm SHOCKED !!!!! :sarcasm:

4. He's a nasty, condescending little POS.
Unfortunately, he's also my Senator, as is Jim DeMint, which is why I always say I have no representation in Washington.

3. Fuck Lindsey Graham
He put her through the wringer with all kinds of bullshit during his questioning..... just to appeal to the mouth-breathing Republican base.

I hope the mouth-breathers destroy you in the next primary, Lindsey.

5. But that's exactly why he did it,
he knew playing to the base was his only option.

Same for Sessions. Don't be suprised if you don't see him saying he'll support Judge Sotomayor.

It's the "pound of flesh" they wanted.

10. That may be higher than i think,
but 80 isn't unreasonable.

Take a look at those Senators up for re-election in 2010. Those Republicans will vote for her. They'll need the votes. Come 2012, people won't remember who did/didn't vote for her.

6. Not a surprise, he's voting for her so he can vote against whoever is next...
...even without his vote she was in, so he figured he could throw away this vote and save his real bile for the next one...God help him or her it will be nasty.

7. He still said something stupid. I mean, I hate to not take "yes" for an answer, but....
"she came to this country from Puerto Rico...."

Fucking moron.

Immigrant goes to America
Many hellos in America
Nobody knows in America
Puerto Rico's in America

9. So, the hell is no longer bugged out of him?
There's a punch line featuring "bugger", "hell", and parts of Lindsay Graham's body that nobody wants to think about, but I'm not going to be the one to say it.

11. I listened to some of his speech
He played it like he was Sidney Carton (paraphrase):

"I'll vote for her because I'm not like those mean Democrats that voted against Dubya's judges. It is a far better thing I do than any Democrat has ever done before...blah, blah, blah."

Drama!
