3. And Now You Know What Radio Is About To Go Bankrupt

I've got September 1 marked in my calandar...i've got a bet that by that day one if not several of the large radio corporates will be forced to file bankruptcy...the byproduct of their own greed and largess. They won't get a government bailout (thank goodness...they probably would have if boooshie or mccain were in power).

Desperate times call for desperate measures. All that's left listening to AM radio are sports nuts and wing nuts...not much more. Hate radio has become a shoutfest of strident "personalities" who are desperate to get listeners or hold them and make some kind of noise to get noticed. These goons are like the shock jocks of the 90's...out to outshout or out outrage the next dude. If Hannity doubts Obama's COLB than Doobies is gonna one up him by demanding proof and then some other asshat will say even that's not good enough. It's one big pissing match and pity party on the AM dial...and one that may see its days come to an end....and it won't be the "Fairness Doctrine" that does it...it'll be the corporate greed that Lou Doobies championed for so many years. Seems fitting.
