Is Obama going to undo the anti-constitutional stuff Bush did?

I don't stay very informed. I don't have TV or radio. Just some time each day on the computer.
One of the things I was hopeful about was that President Obama would undo some of the horrific shit Bush did to undermine the constitution. The Patriot Act, the wire tapping, and the long list of things I don't even know about.
Can somebody just tell me if it looks like some of that is going to happen or not? Is there a feeling that we will move in that direction?

1. I think the cherry of madness will be plucked from the top of the great sundae...

But the bananas and ice cream will remain... :)

I honestly don't see things going back to as they were, but I do see movement in the direction of sanity. Things will probably stabilize in a way that's different than life used to be.

Yeah, I figure it would be unlikely for Obama to make a significant move away from what Bush has done. But I am glad to hear you thing he will at least throw on the brakes. That does give me some reason for hope.

He wont' undo the Patriot act, that is up to Congress, he may use it better than Bush.

4. I kind of figured the Patriot Act is here to stay.

And I don't really know, but I am guessing it is so big and far reaching it could be twisted to be just about anything the person in charge would like it to be. I'm not worried the Obama admin would do that, but there will be other presidents, and there might be other terrorist attacks. It could get ugly with the Patriot Act already in place.
Hopefully some other things will go away under the current administration.
