5. This is going to be cool,,,,
He's about to play on the marquee in front of the building.
GOD
I feel so old.
I watched them the first time in '60's.

GET BACK!
GET BACK!
GET BACK!
To where you once belonged.

10. When I was 13 I was at my cousins house in College Point, Queens NY
We were miles from Shea Stadium while they were playing.
Most of my cousins were female, all my age or older, no one under 17.
They were all over my Uncle, a NYC Cop.
"Daddy! Daddy! WE WANT TO SEE THE BEATLES!!!!!!!"

He said OK!

He lead us out into the backyard, and the first plane that flew overhead from Laguardia Airport, he pointed skyward and said...

"There they go! See Ya Beatles! Wave to the Beatles girls!"

"OH DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Much crying ensued.

How cool was it growing up in New York City during the '60's.

11. lol! I was 12 years old and lived in Kew Garden Hills (across from Queens College) when
the Beatles came to NY! You were closer to them than I was! I remember being glued to the tv set. :)

BTW..I would never trade with anyone my experiences living in the city during the 60s. I was only a short bus ride and a subway away from Manhattan. I had the 7 line and the IND line to choose from. I had incredible friends and we went to concerts and be-ins and down to the village and were also anti-war and marched. Even was there when Queens College was taken over. That was a year after we took over my high school, John Bowne. :)

:hi:

7. ha...at the same time, Dana Carvey was telling Conan how he smoked weed with
Paul after meeting him at Lorne Michaels' house

he did impressions of both, the latter of which sounded pretty much like Mike Meyers' ''Dr. Evil''

14. Which is funny, because Meyers has said that the inspiration...
for Dr. Evil came in part from Lorne Michaels.
