...If you've ever lived in the Deep South, you've encountered a lot of married men whose stereotypical drawling "genteel" manner seems to hint at something else. After all this time around it, seersucker and bowties seem to speak of something sweeter than the tea and the clothes aren't all there is in the closet. In a place as consumed with society, gossip, appearances and conformity as the Old South, it's not unusual. It goes a long ways toward explaining the homophobia.

Sessions WILL NOT vote to confirm Sotomayor, nor will he vote to confirm any of President Obama's future nominees.

Unfortunately, this type of faux hand-wringing can influence low-info voters, but the bright side is most of them aren't plastered to their TVs during judicial hearings in July.
