1. As long as both states have Democratic governors
I don't want to lose a seat in the Senate.

2. I'd rather have a progressive in the senate, than as VP
Why not run Obama and Ed Schultz?

3. Huge fan of both- would be a great ticket-- BUT
I'm still hoping for Gore-Obama frankly and, as much as I'm sad to say it and I wish it was not true but I'm not sure if America is ready for a very liberal, very progressive, Black-Jewish ticket. The country has grown but not quite as much as could or should have. People are still looking at Obama as a black candidate - imagine what would happen if he was running with a (divorced) Jewish VP? Nice idea but not sure it would fly here. And I agree- we need Russ in the Senate (although I would have supported him if he had decided to run for President).

4. I'd be even more pleased to see a Feingold/Obama ticket
but Russ removed himself from consideration in that configuration - and more's the pity. Russ Feingold was my first choice for President, since I believe Democrats need a real fighter as head of the Executive Branch at this particular time. Is it too late to issue a 'draft Feingold' call?

Idle fantasies aside, Obama/Feingold works for me nearly as well

5. Personally I see Feingold (and Obama for that matter) as more

important and more influential right where they are now...in the US Senate. Especially Feingold. He would not wield that much power as VP.
