Like lots of the proposition ballots, I think the wording on this is poor. Granted, anyone familiar with current events at all in Maine should be aware of what the law is, but I can totally see some people who aren't aware that it IS now legal voting YES, thinking that they're voting FOR gay marriage. Not to mention what I can only imagine is the surprising number of people who don't truly understand what "repealed" means.

What was wrong with simply asking, "Should same-sex marriage be legal?"
