3. I went to see the ones in DC last Tuesday

on a bicycle. I nearly got eaten by a Tourmobile, but other than that, a good time was had. I went up to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Two girls were on longboards. A couple of kids took the hint and starting tossing a Frisbee (or equivalent) back and forth. This has to be the best place on the planet to ply roller hockey.

I'll say; I bought them beer.

Ha, ha, j/k. It wasn't the kids that were life-threatening; it was the driver of the Troubmobile. Metrobus drivers like to jump the light. Just before the red light turns to green, they start to accelerate into the intersection. This Tourmobile driver has picked up that habit as well. Those buses are like articulated boxcars, and when they pass a few inches from you, it is pretty unnerving.

Although I'm in Maine now, I'm originally from Cherry Hill, NJ. I havent been there during cherry blosson season in years.

At this time of year the entire town is covered in cherry blossoms. The mayors office gives away free seedlings every year, and has for many many years, so it seems everyone has at least one cherry tree in their yard. We had two..one on either side of the house. I always loved them, and still do. Those pictures really bring back memories.

6. My sister in law is from Cherry Hill...

Where I grew up in NJ didn't have too many cherry trees.....
