Man Sees Image of Michael Jackson in Tree Stump

[The Straight Story]

STOCKTON, CA - A Stockton man said an image of Michael Jackson has mysteriously appeared on a tree stump in his front yard.

Felix Garcia said he first noticed the image last Thursday, while tending to his plants at his home on Village Green Drive.

"I walked up to it, and I said, man, this looks like Michael Jackson," said Garcia.

Since the discovery, neighbors and complete strangers had been dropping by to take a look. Juanita Hernandez lives next door and she said she could definitely see something.

"You can see it. There's something there," Hernandez said.

Garcia said he believed the image most resembled Jackson in his early twenties, the pre-plastic surgery days. More specifically, Garcia said the impression looked like Jackson dressed up as the scarecrow in "The Wiz."

Garcia was not sure how or why the image appeared but he is glad it is there.
