How the hell do you read these codes on pet food cans?

How the hell do you read these codes on pet food cans?
They give you a code date...but after googling, I find no way to read the damn things.

And my wife and I consider ourselves bright....sheesh.

a validity date imprinted. In addition, I also saw UPC code numbers on the recalled items which are also printed on the cans, beneath the bar codes.

(However, what I did was just return all the food from the particular company which did business with menufoods. Even the items that were out of range.
Then, I selected a brand that was not involved with the menufoods fiasco.)

the recall list I have has date codes. Where is the list with the UPC codes?

4. Here is a searchable data base link Maddy McCall posted last night
Searches by brand, container (bag or can), type (dog/cat) and size. Looks like it will give UPC if the food you searched is a hit.
