It's just a hunch. Of course he won't be seated until after the 4th of July or whenever it suits the Senate. Could it be another delay?

3. Cornyn says he'll back Norm if he wants to take it to the USSC
He thinks a justice (it would be Alito, BTW) could issue a stay of certification while they deliberate. His precedent for this cockeyed end run around MN law?

Bush v Gore.

9. A stay could be granted by a single Justice
Franken could be kept from his seat by one Justice of the Supreme Court.

If Coleman appeals and requests a stay, it's up to Samuel Alito to determine.

This could take another year.

10. I'm talking about the Minnesota Supreme Court. Alito is on the USA Supreme
Court. Yes, there could be more obstruction but I believe the MSC is done with the issue.

7. Their term has to be up soon. The U.S. Supreme Court is issuing final decisions today.

8. Coleman could still request a stay from the SCOTUS
Samuel Alito is the SCOTUS Justice assigned for the eight circuit court of appeals, which has jurisdiction over Minnesota, so Alito could conceivable put a halt to seating Franken at the request of Coleman. Then it goes to the SCOTUS, which could take another year.

How much do you want to bet Alito would do so?

11. If he does I hope saner heads impeach him for improper use of his
powers. He should be impeached any way for past decisions that he's make that have been political and outside of his jurisdiction IMHO.
