People die every day. I work for a hospice. I could give you names. But, that
wouldn't be legal. I cried a bunch today for a patient of mine who died. No tears for Farrah or MJ or Ed McMahon for me. Of course lots of people are dying in wars, too. I don't know their names.

11. So, are you suggesting that those who mourn people like MJ and Farrah...
are incapable of mourning those who die in war, etc? How nice of you.

26. I cried for Studs Terkel. It's all subjective. I cried for Jim Henson.

Someone posted did anyone else die and I said yes. Shit I shouldn't have posted anything. It just hit a few nerves that's all.

I apologize for posting things I shouldn't have. My post was sarcastic clearly the op was talking about celebrities when it stated "is there anyone dead". I took it a step further and it was wrong. It's too late to delete it. I tried.

2. Yeah. There are civilians being killed in Honduras because some jackass
somewhere green lighted a coup.

Obama seems to be on it, finally.

5. Gale Storm.
http://www.latimes.com/news/obituaries/la-me-gale-storm29-2009jun29,0,7502329.story

Gale Storm, a Texas native who landed in Hollywood after winning a national talent search and later shot to the top on television as the vivacious star of two popular 1950s situation comedies, "My Little Margie" and "The Gale Storm Show: Oh! Susanna," has died. She was 87.

Storm, who also had a successful recording career during her TV heyday, died Saturday of natural causes at a convalescent hospital in the Northern California community of Danville, according to her son Peter Bonnell.

A summer replacement for "I Love Lucy," "My Little Margie" ran from 1952 to 1955, with Storm starring as the plucky young Margie Albright and Charles Farrell as her handsome widower father, Vern, who shared his Fifth Avenue apartment with her.

-that made a difference in lives and history. I'm glad a few caught on. The little people are sometimes the great people.

the first thing I do when I get up in the morning is check the obituaries. If I'm not in there, I go ahead and plan for a full day. My motto? I plan on living forever...so far, so good.

29. Yes, there are thousands of simple and regular unknown people
who have bravely led lives of quiet desperation, often hoping against hope and anonymously struggling to help themselves, their families, and others. They are greatly missed and mourned by their friends and loved ones, but few others ever know of them.
