1. You should stipulate that "My Little Margie" was a TV character,
played by the wonderful actress Gale Storm. Not everyone on this site is old enough to remember her. Wouldn't want to make folks think you lost a family member or something. Just sayin'.

33. It's not grammar, it's spelling. And what's with the kaboom? Violence?
So you're ignorant & violent?

Great.

There's a place on the 'net whose initials are FR. It may be perfect for you.

35. Accusing me of being a Freeper on something totally unrelated to politics
the last resort of all DU's who have run out of things to say forsaking intellectual debate, and to think that this all started because of some obscure reference to a television show that existed before many of us were born. Can you say pathetic, and to think I was feeling sympathy for your loss. Now I think I feel sympathy for your loss of rational thought, if you had any to begin with. Yes, using the word "kaboom" to signify that this thread is completely ridiculous and has blown up in our faces is "violent". Please...

36. Let me try to be as clear as I possibly can.
Whenever someone stops by a thread to drop off a nugget of judgement I feel like I'm being mugged by someone's ego.

I think it's very church-ladyish.

Gale Storm most definitely counts, but I have a mathematical (algebraic?) problem with the passing of Chicago broadcasting legend John Calloway, since he isn't well known nationally.

17. Aw. I was a Margie fan.
She did another series after Margie, where she was the social director on an ocean liner. That one had Zazu Pitts.

29. When Poiuyt and I were kids, if we were VERY good
on Saturday night we were allowed to stay up until 8:01 and watch the opening of the Gale Storm Show and watch everyone on the boat say "Oh Susanna." Cracked up up (and got us to behave for the babysitter).

18. She was a Texas girl, born down the road from where I live.
Wiki says she was born in Bloomington, Texas, not too far down the highway from where I live now. She got her training in Houston, though.

RIP, Josephine.
