Pounding sand in Iraq.

Think about it.

We supposedly "liberated" the nation from a tyrant. HALF their population (probably more) are under 30...probably half or close to it is male.

and in FOUR YEARS' time we have not managed to get their military trained?

If one accepts the fact that WE have the "bestest, baddest", military ever known in the whole world, for all-time, what's the hold up?

Our military and admin keeps saying we need more men, more time, more money...for WHAT?

It's got to have dawned on someone in a high place, that there is RESISTANCE to our style of training, our style of military, our style of governance.

We would have been more successful at "war-fighting/war-winning", if we had just dumped cash all over the country, instead of those "shock and awe" bombs, back in March '03.

Imagine being an Iraqi, and looking up to see wads of cash falling from the sky.

Surely the pressure to dump Saddam would have come from within, eventually..especially if all of a sudden , ordinary people had some cash to spend..

but I digress...

We are failing to get their "army" ready, and no amount of more men, more money, more time will change that.

"They" don't want us there. "they" want our money, our equipment, and US.. G O N E !
