Well, it's April 6th, and no attack on Iran!
Remember that's what the Russian intelligence predicted? Well, is it just coincidence or do you think our wonderful madame secretary had anything to do with it? Or, do you think that unlike the Iraq war, we were just this big sleeping giant before, and now there are so many eyes and ears watching, listening and watching for their screwups that the idiots in chief couldn't possibly get away with it again? Maybe it was the botched Brit hostage thing? Or maybe there is another reason. It certainly can't be that Bush and co. obtained a conscience!

5. If Pelosi timed her trip to coincide with April 6
she may have single-handedly avoided a world war, for now. The timing would have been perfect for Bush with Congress on recess and the House not due back for another week.

10. Not sure where you got that info.
Sure you and I know it's stupid, but the PNAC has always wanted and planned to take over the oil countries, one at a time of course.

12. Of COURSE they wanted and planned that. But reality interfered. They're dead in the water now,
and they know it. For example: Does all the noise about Pelosi and Syria carry the strong stench of desperation, or what?

15. I've never quite bought the "It doesn't matter what the facts are, Bush is crazy" argument
Bush is stupid, but not crazy. Cheney doesn't like reality, but that doesn't mean he'll always deny it.

I agree: despite their twisted little desires, there was never a real threat of a deliberate attack on Iran. The real danger was always that Bush's empty-headed empty-scabbard-rattling could have lead into an unplanned incident that itself could lead to an exchange of missiles. For that matter, that danger is still very much a possibility.

We need to continue keeping the pro-peace pressure on the chickenhawks.

19. Yes, eternal vigilance is the price of liberty (and peace, these days), isn't it? We do indeed need
to watch those chickenhawks like, well a hawk, we do.

Because there's NO telling what stupid things they'll try to do if we don't.

16. Hear hear!
All this crazy rumor-mongering over an Iran attack is so much hot air. There have been at least a dozen "solid" dates for an Iran attack over years, all proven wrong, and yet some people still panic over the whole thing.

(and oil fields up for grabs) in Iran.

If BushCo did attack today as the Russian's said they were planning...BushCo would look awfully fucking silly, even more so than usual....It's only been postponed or right on schedule...By hitting Iran, Cheney will have his "never ending war" for profits - long into the next decade!

14. I am sure their primary goals are 1) control who controls oil and 2) keep the war money train
a-rollin'. Oh, and 3) keep the WH in Republic party hands so as to prolong their usurpation of money/power. Everything but everything revolves around this. Problem is there are now those pesky Dem-run investigations that, like persistent little ants, just keep trying to spoil the picnic.

20. Sy Hersh's prediction was in "PROPHETIC days"
Which are not the same as Gregorian Calendar, according to which the attack would have happened either 6/7/06 or today, depending on how you do the math.

My reading of the "Omega Code -- the Secrets of the Bible Revealed" tells me that means we have 48 business hours.
