Poll question: Has Clarence Thomas EVER been on the right side of a legal opinion?
Strip search of teen was unconstitutional, Supreme Court rules

Only Justice Clarence Thomas dissented. He complained the ruling "grants judges sweeping authority to second guess the measures that these officials take to maintain discipline in their schools and ensure the health and safety of the students in their charge."

2. Somewhere out there Thurogood Marshall is spinning in his grave
THIS was the man picked to replace Marshall on the Supreme Court. It's like dining on Filet Mignon and then being told you can only have McDonald's burgers for the rest of your life

3. No. And that Anita Hill was just a mean liar. Thomas doesn't even drink Coke.
He doesn't even LIKE Coke (as in Coca Cola, don't know about any other substances that name applies to).

And he never knew nothin' bout no pubic hair, either!

Just compare Anita Hill to Clarence Thomas...

SHE...smart...articulate...no reason to lie...

HE...well, just check his record. Who do you think was telling the truth and who was lying?

6. But, but, but ...............
Didn't George H. W. Bush say he was the highest-qualified token Uncle Tom around?

I thought I remembered that when he introduced Thomas. Come to think of it, that was around the time I started to hear Thurgood Marshall's ghost screaming in my head.......................

9. Clarence "pubic hair" Thomas.
When I saw the dissenting opinion, I told my 14 yo about the Thomas/ Hill issue we listened to ad nauseum, and how the dumb fuck was confirmed anyway. He just shook his head.

13. IMHO, yes. Specifically, Apprendi and its progeny.
It's more rare than I'd like, but he does get it right from time to time.
