Then again, if you looked at my views in total, I'd come off as a Deist more than anything else. I am averse to hierarchical religion and religious dogma in general.

6. However, having recently moved from secular(ish) Maryland . . .
to religious(istic) Texas, I am noticing more people (young and old) announcing their intent to go -- and on Friday as well.

Since I'm not a religious person, this stuff just kind of blows past me.

Northern Virginia to North Carolina. I've seen more Jesus fish in 1-1/2 years than I've seen in a lifetime; not sure how long I'm going to last down here!

21. Yup, as a member of a cathedral choir, I'll be there
tonight for Good Friday, Saturday night for Easter Vigil, and Sunday morning for Easter itself. On Sunday morning, we'll be singing one of my favorite anthems of all time, the 16th century motet "Haec dies" ("This is the day").

Fortunately, dinner with the relatives is at 4PM, so I'll be able to sneak in a nap before heading out.

26. Probably, and I'm an atheist.
It's really important to some people in my life, so I will sometimes attend if requested, or even just if I'm feeling curious or if I'm wanting to support someone in the choir or whatever.

And the kids are having an Easter egg hunt, which is always a kick.

I haven't bothered to see what the topic of the sermon will be.

Otherwise I have no reason what so ever to go into any church on earth, now or ever.

34. Nope. Raised Catholic. I was so brainwashed that I thought I was
Going to die the first time I missed Sunday Mass. Couldn't sleep that night. And then I didn't die. That led me down the path to where I am now, which is mostly not believing any man made religion. And happily so.

GOD* DOESN'T DO MAYBES!!!

*"God" refers to your choice there of God or no God or a form of God as it pertains to your personal faith or lack there of not with standing management can not be held responsible for the likely occurrence of God or of not God.

42. I appreciate your opinion.
But just because I have yet to decide if I'm going to church doesn't necessarily preclude me from believing in God. I don't have to go to church to pray or worship.

If jesus comes out of his cave and sees his shadow does that mean only 6 more weeks of the Bush administration? I'd convert to christianity in a heartbeat if that would happen. :)

43. I consider the whole earth a kind of church, so I will walk around in
an intraspective mood, while the Honey Baked ham warms up and the rolls bake, filling the house w/that homey smell I remeber from so long ago.

I will try and find at least one person to do a little kindness to, and hopefully it will be poassed on to others and the many can benefit.

I wish warmth and understanding to everyone, not on this day alone, but for everyday. I hope and pray for Peace, compassion and Love; and for the wisdom to maintain it.

44. Yes I am! I finally found the right church for me.
I met the minister at the peace rally last month. She read a poem she wrote & talked about how the right had hijacked Jesus.
I have been going every Sunday since & have never felt more at home in a church in my life.
