NYT/Collins: Sanford's biggest crime - being "loony."

Although this FINALLY offers an explanation for why he spent his Argentina time crying - it's the first time I have heard offered up that he went there to break up with his lover. I don't think even he said that in the presser, but I could be wrong. I missed the entire press conference which most people seem to feel had the looniest parts in the beginning, so I will have to catch an actual transcript.

Of course, a REAL fiscal conservative would have used SKYP to break up with her! Just more hypocrisy.
