So my dad still gets newsletters from the Southwestern Baptist Theological

Association, so I picked up the latest one in the den and read through it. There
was some crap about "text-driven preaching," which appeared to
me to be a plagiarism of "purpose-driven".

The next thing I noticed was that the newsletter only had pictures
of men, except for women with their preacher husbands. And of eight
pictures of preachers, seven were fat baby-faced white men. The eight was
an older white man.

Finally, there was a quote from one of them calling himself a thrillseeker. He liked
to skydive, eetc, but he claimed the biggest thrill was leading men to
Christ Jesus. I guess he doesn't like witnessing to women. I suppose aren't
worth it since we can't be preachers.

I really, really don't like Baptist world.
