7. Excellent!
Here's the original image of the Brooks Brothers' riot:

From left to right:

1. Tom Pyle, office of House Majority Whip Tom Delay (T-Tex)
2. Garry Malphrus, former staff director of the Senate Judiciary subcommittee on criminal justice
3. Rory Cooper, staff member, National Republican Congressional Committee
4. Kevin Smith, former GOP House aide who later worked with Voter.com
5. Steven Brody, former GOP Senate aide
6. Matt Schlapp, former House aide and Bush campaign aide
7. Roger Morse, another House aide
8. Duanne Gibson, aide on the House Resources Committee
9. Chuck Royal, assistant to Rep. Jim Demint (R-SC)
10. Layna McConkey, a Senate and House aide and was at Steelman Health Strategies during the effort

And, here is my related, yet silly poll on the Truthiness Encyclopedia: http://www.wikiality.com/Poll#June_21.2C_2009

That was my first tip-off something was off about the whole thing.

32. We could really use an update on those vermin
Here's one from the Washington Post in 2005, including...

Some of those pictured have gone on to other things, including stints at the White House. For example, Matt Schlapp, No. 6, a former House aide and then a Bush campaign aide, has risen to be White House political director. Garry Malphrus, No. 2 in the photo, a former staff director of the Senate Judiciary subcommittee on criminal justice, is now deputy director of the White House Domestic Policy Council. And Rory Cooper, No. 3, who was at the National Republican Congressional Committee, later worked at the White House Homeland Security Council and was seen last week working for the Presidential Inaugural Committee.

9. The Brooks Brothers Riot!!!
Not only protesting in favor of them, but if the whole sorry event weren't STAGED (and the only "protest" that gets more than 30 seconds of MSM attention at all, I might add), it'd be illegal. Weren't they trying to break into a government office during the process of recounting a National Election? Isn't that a federal offense? Supposedly, no member of the BBR was ever arrested and three of them were appointed to the Bewsh White House staff. Unbelievable.

The fat spectacled one is named Tom Pyle. Appropriate.

10. DId you see the film "Recount"?
They did a good job covering this fake protest. It brought back some bad memories. No one in the media, that I recall, ever mentioned the fact that these freedom fighters were bused in by the RNC.

28. Oh, get Recount.
Amazing movie.
Staged almost like a thriller - it was so exciting.

And one of the things they did was use ACTUAL footage of things like the BBR, which just brings home the fact that the whole damn story is true...

26. it'd be illegal.
Isn't this what the Chicago Seven was on trial for?

From Wikipedia:

On February 18, 1970, all seven defendants were found not guilty of conspiracy.<25> Two (Froines and Weiner) were acquitted completely, while the remaining five were convicted of crossing state lines with the intent to incite a riot, a crime instituted by the anti-riot provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1968.

14. America is not Irans enemy. Just American Republicans.
The chemical weapon to Saddam Hussein was Republicans Ronald Reagan and George Bush Sr. Many of the headaches and heartaches to Iran after that was also our Republicans. I can't honestly say that Democrats are without sin. But we learn from our mistakes. We don't try to expand upon them like our Republicans do.

Question for the critical Rabid Repugs,

Why weren't you critical of George Bush Sr.
who DID NOT aid the protesters in Tiananmen Square,
June 4,1989?

can overthrow a democratic, presidential election throwing the result to a candidate who got less votes.

21. Add Darrell Issa To The Douche List
Regardless of what Obama says, the right is going to hammer him. The right will simply make up false comparisons like Pence did with Reagan.

Last night Rep. Darrell Issa tried to make a comparison between Iran and Tiananmen Square. The subsequent article, with clip debunks the claims Issa made.

Here is the clip.

22. Hey Darrell, did the world's community protect Chinese car thieves after Tiananmen Square?...
Edited on Tue Jun-23-09 12:27 PM by cascadiance
Looks like the Chinese still summarily shoot them there after that event...

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/chinas-executioners-work-overtime-international-outcry-over-organ-transplant-grows-as-car-thieves-join-rising-toll-of-those-shot-after-summary-trials-1445746.html

even though here it seems as you so aptly demonstrate, we protect car thieves and make them congress critters, and help them get rich building car alarm companies...

They just have to in turn speak out at times to make sure that certain U.S. prosecutors get fired if they try to screw with the system too much or help throw out governors if they're Democrats!

23. Agreed! The Right is going to use every chance it gets to hammer Obama. That...
...is the whole and most important point. They may or may not really want what they say they want. If McCain were in office and responding this way, they might be saying, "He's doing the right thing." But their job, as they see it, is to find a way to criticize Obama every which way they can and make him look bad and inexperienced and weak at every opportunity.

This is why they never have alternatives when you ask them "What would you do, then?" Of it they do have alternatives, they sound bold but are really impractical or even stupid. All they want, ultimately, is to make the American public afraid and sorry that they voted for Obama and kicked the Republicans out of office. They are and continue to be the sorest losers on the planet.
