PepsiCo sponsors four more gay pride parades

June 18, 2009

Following their sponsorship of the New York Gay Pride Parade scheduled for June 27, PepsiCo has agreed to sponsor four more gay pride parades – Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix and Cleveland. Click here to see the kind of parade PepsiCo is sponsoring.

PepsiCo shows its employees caught in this destructive and harmful lifestyle no compassion, no support to help them leave it. Rather,PepsiCo spends huge sums of money to promote the lifestyle.

AFA has asked PepsiCo to be neutral in the culture war regarding the homosexual agenda and the legalization of homosexual marriage, but PepsiCo adamantly refuses to do so.

PepsiCo requires employees to attend sexual orientation and gender diversity training. It supports homosexual groups with gifts totaling over $1 million. PepsiCo refuses to give any money to groups such as Parents and Friends of Ex-Gay and Gays (PFOX) that work to help individuals change their sexual behavior.

Take Action!
• Sign the Boycott Pepsi Pledge. After signing the pledge, please call Pepsi (914-253-2000 or 1-800-433-2652) and tell the company you will boycott its products until it stops promoting the homosexual agenda.
• Call the Pepsi bottler nearest you and ask it to stop supporting the homosexual agenda.
• Pepsi’s products include Pepsi soft drinks, Frito-Lay chips and snacks (800-352-4477), Quaker Oats (800-367-6287), Tropicana (800-237-7799) and Gatorade (800-884-2867).
• Print the Boycott Pepsi Pledge and distribute it.
• Forward this e-mail to your friends and family so they will know about Pepsi’s support of the homosexual agenda. Millions of people are not aware of Pepsi’s support of homosexual organizations.

6. Sadly, it seems to be gone from the stores for now.
It was supposedly a two month promotion, but I'm hoping they sold enough of it to get the message that people want sugar and not high fructose corn poison.

I've still got a small stash of the Pepsi Throwback though. Couldn't even find the Mountain Dew again after the first time. Hope they bring it back soon, and permanently.

12. I had no idea they made Mountain Dew throwback!
The ultimate caffeine rush back, hand-in-hand with real sugar? I may vibrate back in time if I drink a couple.

5. I don't drink either Pepsi or Coke much but....
given a "choice" (fundies love that phrase) I'll pick Pepsi products every time now.

"PepsiCo refuses to give any money to groups such as Parents and Friends of Ex-Gay and Gays (PFOX) that work to help individuals change their sexual behavior." Well good for them!

15. As crazy as...
Muslim Cleric: Pepsi is "Zionist Plot"

In addition, a member of the Hamas terrorist organization’s parliament in Gaza made similar accusations against Pepsi last year. Speaking with official Hamas TV station Al-Aqsa TV on April 23, 2008, Hamas MP Salem Salamah said, “There are companies established by the colonialists and occupiers - large companies with branches all over the world, like Pepsi, Pepsi Cola. This is a well-known company. Pepsi is an acronym. P-E-P-S-I - Pay Every Pence to Save Israel. Pay every pence - pence is one-hundredth of a dollar – to save Israel. Pay every pence to save Israel…”

--snip--

Do you know what the word "Pepsi" means? Pepsi as in P-E-P-S-I. The first P stands for "Pay." E stands for "Every." The third letter stands for "Penny." A penny means any small coin you receive and don't know what to do with. Pay it to "Saving" I - "Israel." In other words, pay every small coin you receive in order to save Israel. They don't want money from you - they want your small change, your pennies. If I'm not mistaken, in American economics, a penny is one-thousandth of the dollar. It's not even worth a piaster. It's only a millime. At least I think it's worth a millime, not even a piaster.

Poor Pepsi. Personally, I like Coke much better, but this is absurd to all new levels.

20. I'm glad Pepsi is supportive....
But frankly, I think Pride has gotten really, really commercialized. The SF parade is full of corporate sponsors, lots of booze companies, etc. I know it helps offset the costs but god, it's like one long ad.
