Strong earthquake jolts Anchorage, Alaska

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A strong earthquake jolted Anchorage, Alaska, on Monday, sending people diving under desks and huddling in doorways but apparently causing no damage.

The U.S. Geological Survey said an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 struck about 24 miles from the town of Willow at 11:28 a.m. The epicenter was 58 miles from the state's largest city, Anchorage, where the rumbling continued for several moments.

Personally, I'm figuring she finally figured out she's not politically viable outside of Wasilla.

It's the legal fees, which is the big story up here right now. We're just curious how in the hell she could have run up $600,000 worth of legal fees defending ethics complaints when only two or three of the 18 have even been seriously investigated by her personnel board, and one of those was filed by Sarah herself when she didn't like the legislature's decision on Troopergate. Her attorney is refusing to provide a case-by-case itemized statement, citing attorney-client privilege. Maybe there are investigations going on that we don't know about -- IRS maybe?

As someone who came into office promising to be "open and transparent," she's been anything but.

Sarah Palin has now issued a statement saying, "His act was not at all funny, it was clearly intentional, and the Liberal media has not seen fit to comment on its elitist character." She added, "Just who does God think He is?!!"
