5.7 magnitude earthquake near Anchorage, Alaska

A strong earthquake has jolted the urban area around Anchorage, Alaska. The U.S. Geological Survey said an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.7 struck near the town of Willow at 11:28 a.m. Monday. The epicenter is 58 miles from Alaska's largest city, Anchorage.
