They have no idea what it means to be a public servant.

As they are blessed with a great health care option, they are blind to those who do not have any or little health care and the problems.

Dear Senator,

We need a strong public health insurance plan even if it is only an option at the present time.
Please fight for 'we the people'. Have you seen the poll numbers favoring the public option?

I find it ironic that Congress and their families have a public health plan for LIFE yet some speak out against us having similar.

I favor a single-payer system but a strong public option would be OK depending on how it is set up.

Please do the right thing and support the people of this country as opposed to the special interests of the big pharma and private insurance lobby.

6. Not going to do it

Asking our congress critters to do the right thing will not ever phase them. Threatening to deny them your vote and work actively for whoever runs for their seat and denying them any money is the only thing that will ever get any of their attention... not a one of them gives a rat's ass about what their constituents want or need as their only concern has ever been keeping their ass in their seat.

8. If public healthcare is so bad then why subject yourself to it?

If it was so bad why do we subject our soliders to public healthcare?
I challenge all members of Congress to put their money where their mouths are. Give up your government plan and try to get one on the "free market" just like everybody else. OH wait, they couldn't get health insurance on the "free market" because most of them are uninsurable.
