They're very brave to stand up to those who want them to do one thing when their constituents want them to vote otherwise. They're being hammered by the opposition. Yet they stand tall in the face of the onslaught.

cd is serving his masters; sure as hell NOT the American people or his constituents.

3. He got smeared on the protection of bonuses clause.

There was a quote that said something a little vague, put in by one of his staff. Then that statement was twisted to defend bonuses, and then they smeared Senator Dodd for that.

And when the media smears you, and it is out of perspective, then to me that means he is trying to do right.

cd has allowed the credit card divisions of banks to run roughshod and amok over the credit consumer. cd has no defense and as stated; cd serves his masters well.

Although if what you said was true, they should make that point when running for election, clearly without equivocation. If they make that point to the voters and still get elected, then you could have an argument to make.

I would guess the problem comes if they claim to support 'we the people' and then do not.
